SUP challenge in Zavidovo, May 18, 2024

Zavidovo SUP challenge— these are annual All-Russian official SUP competitions with an impressive prize fund, organized by the «SUPCLUB» team.

According to the SUP World Ranking, in 2020 the race became the 4th most visited in the world.

The races are held with the support of the Russian Surfing Federation.

The event is included in the calendar plan of official physical events and sports events of the Tver region for 2024.

Want to have a sports team-building event? Great, gather your colleagues into your company team and come to the Zavidovo SUP challenge! You can invite not only colleagues but also club members or just friends to join your team. When registering, specify the name of your team.

The team can consist of 10 or more participants. All teams will receive:

— Respect post on Zavidovo SUP challenge social media;
— Introduction by the host;
— A certificate of honor to decorate your office!

Teams with 20 or more members can enjoy a chill-out area at the event venue, and the fastest team will receive the Team Standings Winner's Cup.

Brand Standings

Our competitions support brands' efforts to promote quality products in the market. Recognized brands support us in return. In the brand standings, riders on boards from the following manufacturers participate: SUP face, Red Paddle, Shark, and Indiana (the list will be updated).

Each brand has prepared gifts for the strongest participant who completes the Short distance on a board from that manufacturer.

One prize for a male participant and one for a female participant.

Restrictions

Winners of ZSC Light (1st-3rd place) in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 are only allowed on the Short distance.

Winners of ZSC on Short and Long distances (1st-3rd place) in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 are only allowed on the Long distance.

To participate in the competition, it is necessary to read and sign the Regulations (updated).

*Participants over 50 and under 18 years old, as well as participants with health restrictions that prevent them from completing a more challenging distance, are exempt from these restrictions.

*Schoolchildren and students (up to 25 years old) are allowed on the Short and LIGHT distances upon presentation of a student or school ID.

How to get there

By car

By train

The route along the Leningradskoye Highway goes via the high-speed expressway M11 or M10. Along the Dmitrovskoye Highway to the city of Dubna, and then further on a ferry across the canal to Konakovo. On the Novorizhskoye Highway, you need to enter the city of Klin, then within the city, turn onto the Leningradskoye Highway. On the Pyatnitskoye Highway from the MKAD until the intersection with the Leningradskoye Highway.

The high-speed train "Lastochka" or suburban train stops at "Konakovo GRES" station. From there, you can take a taxi to Konakovo River Club in 10 minutes. Trains and electric trains depart from Leningradsky railway station. The schedule of trains to "Konakovo GRES".

Safety

The competition will be accompanied by professional rescuers on motor boats.
Any participant can drop out of the race at any time. The participant will be taken to the finish line by boat.
A medical assistance point will be available at the start, finish, and pit stop. First aid kits will be on board the escort boats.
